CCGP2026 Opening Event “All4Kids”
The CCGP2026 Opening Event – “All4Kids” kicks off the Cyprus Chess Grand Prix 2026 with an exciting youth blitz tournament held as part of the All4Kids Expo at the Carob Mill on 8 February.
Players will compete in 7 rounds with a 5+0 blitz time control, offering a fast-paced and dynamic chess experience in a lively family-friendly expo environment.
This opening event sets the tone for an inspiring Grand Prix season and welcomes young chess talents from across Cyprus for a day full of competition, fun, and sportsmanship.
Awards & Categories
The winner of the overall standings will receive the special signature trophy
“CCGP2026 ALL4KIDS Champion.”
Participants compete in one open U14 tournament, but awards will be presented in six separate categories:
Boys
- U14 Boys – born 2012 or later
- U11 Boys – born 2015 or later
- U8 Boys – born 2018 or later
Girls
4. U14 Girls – born 2012 or later
5. U11 Girls – born 2015 or later
6. U8 Girls – born 2018 or later
Prizes
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category receive medals and special prizes from Freedom24 Chess Academy.
- All participants receive a diploma of appreciation from Freedom24.
- A sweet table and water will be available for all participants.
Note:
Only the Overall Champion receives two prizes.
All other players receive prizes only in their highest eligible category.
Category allocation will be shown in the starting list.

The event takes place at Carob Mill, Limassol, within the All4Kids Expo venue.
