The Cyprus Chess Grand Prix 2026 is a collaborative initiative formed by five independent chess organisations in Cyprus, who came together with the shared objective of creating a unified, transparent, and season-long competitive framework.

All participating entities contribute on an equal basis, while maintaining their full organisational independence.

Freedom24 Chess Academy

Freedom24 Chess Academy is a chess academy engaged in the training of players and the organisation of competitive chess events in Cyprus. The academy combines structured coaching with active involvement in tournaments, contributing to the development of competitive chess and organised play within the Cypriot chess community.

Limassol Chess Club is a well-established non-profit chess organisation based in Limassol, Cyprus, dedicated to the promotion and development of chess for players of all ages and levels. Marina Cherkasova Chess Academy

Marina Cherkasova Chess Academy is a Paphos-based chess school led by Woman FIDE Master and FIDE Instructor Marina Cherkasova. The academy offers structured lessons for children and adults and organises youth chess activities designed to improve strategic thinking and competitive skills.

SIMBA Trainers

SIMBA Trainers is a FIDE-endorsed chess academy based in Cyprus, actively involved in chess education, competitive development, and the organisation of chess events. The academy is engaged in international chess-in-education initiatives, including participation in the FIDE Infinite Chess project, and contributes to the promotion of structured, educational, and competitive chess across different age groups.

Each of the above organisations is recognised as an equal partner within the Cyprus Chess Grand Prix initiative.
No single entity holds a privileged position within the series, and all cooperation is based on mutual agreement and shared responsibility.
